Ireland

GABRIEL GUESTHOUSE Cork, Ireland

Hello from Ireland!
I arrived a few hours ago. This country is very very green. Actually add a few more 'very's' to that. No wifi connection at Heathrow and no photos. I figured it would be an invasion of space on anyone I was taking pictures of and I was too tired to get up and ask. It was fun though people watching. I situated myself in the center of the main terminal so I could get the crossroads of the world. Listening to the beautiful sounds of Enya and Bethoven prompted me to appreciate the emense diversity we inhabit on this planet. Talk about individuality and at the same time so connected. By the way Devon, turns out that headbands on guys are quite popular here in Europe. Perhaps I should create a men's hairband line.
Tomorrow I'm going to take the train to Cobh (pronounced Cove). Home to the Belvelly Castle which dates back from the 15th century. Cobh is situated on the southern shore of The Great Island and is one of the world's finest natural harbours. STAY TUNED!
The pictures on the post are from the gardens at Gabriel Guesthouse where I'm staying. The last photo I took from the plane right before landing. Looks like patch work from a beautiful quilt.
See you tomorrow!

  1. Don't know why the photos are so high up and the writing is further down. Maybe the computer is also experiencing jet lag.
